Are you guys as anxious for Christmas, as I am? I have a shopping trip planned with my sister, I've got last minute gifts on my list, and I'm stocked up with wrapping paper and ribbon.
While the season is full of joy, it's also full of stress Eek. Gotta watch the budget. How much can we spend on each child? Wait. What about the gift exchange at school? The list gets longer each day. Hey. I get it. I'm a Mom with three kids and I shop around for the best toy deals to save a dollar too. That's why I'm SO excited to tell you guys about the Big Toy Event at Target, starting today, Dec. 8th, through Christmas Eve. All the hottest toys of the season you've been looking for all at great prices, like the ever popular Fijit Friend, Scrabble Flash (my 9-yr-old is DYING for this), and Lego City Bank and Money Transfer. Want to win one? You KNOW I've got you covered, right?
About Target's Big Toy Event:
Okay, this might get a little overwhelming, but there are a few key dates to remember during this big Toy Event. You don't want to miss it because the savings are unbelievable.
December 4th - 10th: Some of the most coveted toy brands in Target stores and at Target.com will be Buy 1 get 1 50% off. You'll will receive 50% off the purchase of a second toy from the same brand when you buy any item from: Barbie, Fisher Price Little People, DIsney Princes, Disney Cars 2, Nerf, Thomas & Friends, or LEGO City.
November 30th - Christmas Eve: For additional savings, Target is also offering 25 Days of Toys. They will feature one must-have toy each day at a deep discount in stores and online. To sign up to receive notificiations on all 25 deals, guests can visit Target.com/DailyDeals or text DD to 827438.
Ongoing: In addition to the Big Toy Event and 25 Days of Toys, you can save even more by visiting the coupon portal at Target.com to receive 25 offers at 25% off. Target's price-match promise guarantees that you'll always get the lowest price on toys.
Momma Findings' Top Toys of the Season:
We've got some of the hottest toys listed in our 2011 Holiday Gift Guide, but there are THREE toys, in particular, that my children are BEGGING for.
First, my daughter has a Fijit Friend on her list. It's the MUST-HAVE, apparently if you're in her 2nd grade class, "Mom! Everyone is going to get one for Christmas! EVERYONE." Our friends at Target decided they'd grant this Christmas wish for her and I'm SO excited to see it on Christmas morning. Before I do, however, I had the chance to play with it and it's really cool. It has a soft, rubber like body, a digital enhanced face that lights up when it talks to you. It's a girl's interactive BFF that dances along with your music, talks to you, AND understands key words. She's going to love it, right?
Second, is Scrabble Flash. Now I'm a word geek at heart, so this game is just the epitome of fun to me. You have five cubes that act as tiles. They digitally chance letters on every turn and they ALSO keep score. The object is to slide, swap, and shuffle to make words fast. A new spin on the classic Scrabble game and I think my oldest is going to LOVE it.
Now the third one is the awesome LEGO City Bank and Money Transfer. I didn't get a chance to try it because I, instead, opted to ............... wait for it....... GIVE IT AWAY!
One lucky Momma Findings reader will receive the LEGO City Bank and Money Transfer set to shower their little one. Sweetness.
Disclosure: This post made possible by Target and representing PR agency, who provided me with a sample product to facilitate this post. Opinions, stated, are always my own and never wavered by products received nor compensated unless, otherwise, stated.
