You have NO idea how excited I am that Thanksgiving is over and Christmas is on it's way. For me, Christmas brings such joy to my heart with family togetherness and the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ.
While I love buying Christmas decorations for my home, I rarely purchase things for the OUTSIDE. I'm always worried about the INSIDE because that's where we spend most of our time as a family. Plus, it's always so hard for me to put up Christmas lights and my husband LOATHES the process as well. This year, however, we're pretty excited to decorate outside our home. We've got a Home Depot trip planned this weekend for lights, but we've already got a head start with our Outdoor Nativity set.
Right after Thanksgiving I assembled and displayed our Nativity Set from OutdoorNativitySets.com. What a great way to kick start the Christmas Season in our neighborhood. I think that's what I love so much about it. It helps me display the real reason for the season.
I get a little intimidated by fancy lights and hard-to-assemble structures. I think that's why I've always steered clear from decorating outside for Christmas. The Outdoor Nativity Sets and figures are SO easy to assemble. You don't need a bunch of tools to get it to set up straight. With two stakes, you're in business. Take a look:
Another thing I love is that each piece of the structure acts like a puzzle piece as you put it together. You really CAN'T get it wrong when assembling. Once it's assembled it sits on the ground with each piece supporting the other, making it sturdy, yet simple with it's clean, clear look. Here's a peek at the back:
Final Findings:
This Outdoor Nativity Set is my very first Christmas structure outdoors and I'm quite happy it's been a success. It was easy for me to put together, it's stays firm on the ground, and helps me display the faith we have in our home, especially around the Holidays. I will say, however, you can't see it at night. This weekend, I'm going to look for a spotlight that will shine on it when the sun goes down and I think it'll be even MORE amazing. Oh and the kids LOVED it, so that's always a big plus in my book.
You can find the EXACT same Nativity Set I have at www.outdoornativitysets.com for the suggested retail price of $149.50. You can also purchase additional Nativity Figures to add each year such as the Three Wisemen, Animals, Shepherds, and Angels.
