I have been, thoroughly, enjoying featuring some of my favorite brands that have made the decision to support Susan G. Komen during Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Today, we're excited to introduce a brand we've all come to love, especially us Mommas who take TONS and TONS of pictures of our little ones.
This month Kodak is offering the KODAK EASYSHARE Camera Bundle C1530 Susan G. Komen Edition, a one-of-a-kind camera bundle featuring a 14-megapixel camera with a 3x optical zoom and a Kodak Share Button in pink, as well as a slim camera case, 4GB memory card and wrist strap with pink ribbons. What's more, $4 out of every purchase of the camera will be donated to Susan G. Komen for the Cure to help fight breast cancer. So? Do I even HAVE to ask who wants to win one?
This month, we've all been urged by the media, companies, loved ones, and even billboard signs to get screened for breast cancer. Margo K. Lucero, vice president of business development and partnerships at Komen said this about the partnership with Kodak:
She's right you know. Early detection is key. I'm taking this SO seriously that I'm planning a mammogram with my Mom next week. We HAVE to take this disease seriously and do what we can, on our end, to treat it as early as possible. Stay tuned for my first ever Mammogram post {totally G rated just so you know}.
Kodak is taking an active role in supporting the cause they've created a camera bundle JUST for Breast Cancer Awareness. How cool is that? Even MORE cool is that they sent ME one as well. Check it out:
The KODAK EASYSHARE Camera Bundle (C1530), Susan G. Komen Edition, a one-of-a-kind camera bundle from Kodak that will feature a slim camera case, 4GB memory card and wrist strap with pink ribbons. Kodak will directly support Susan G. Komen for the Cure® with $4 out of every purchase of the camera donated to the charity to help fight breast cancer.
The white camera with pink accents boasts a 14MP, 3x optical zoom and features Kodak’s innovative Share Button in pink, the official color of Breast Cancer Awareness month in October. Once connected to a PC, pre-tagged photos will automatically be uploaded to sites like FACEBOOK and KODAK Gallery or can be emailed to friends and family. Anything Facebook friendly is a friend to me!

Early detection saves lives, meaning more time spent with friends and family creating incredible memories. The KODAK EASYSHARE Camera Bundle is a great way to record and share memories with loved ones while bringing us one step closer to the cures for breast cancer.”

I would give the camera to my best friend Nikki who I somehow talked into walking 60 miles in the Komen 3-Day (twice)!
i'd give it to my mother-in-law
I would give this camera bundle to my grandmother. She lost her mother to breast cancer when she was a child. Her mother was only 35 when she lost her battle. Then she watched her own daughter become a survivor eight years ago. Thanks for the opportunity.
I would keep it for myself because I need a new good camera.
