This month we're talking nails and the colors all of us girls LOVE to paint them. I mean, even my 7-yr-old daughter is all about painting her nails. What girl isn't? So, our pick for the month of August is Orchid Professional Nail Lacquer. How did we like it? How did it fair? Most importantly, what color did WE paint our nails all month long?

Momma Findings:
Thanks to H-E-B, I had the chance to check out the Orchid Professional Nail Lacquer, which I'll be referring to as Nail Polish because really? I don't use the word "Lacquer" in my every day language.
Let's get down to the nitty gritty. My nails need help. I'm just not one of those women who care what my nails look like. I LOVE the way they look on other women, but I can't maintain them, so I don't bother. In fact, I do so much typing and regular day to day stuff, it ends up being a waste of time or a waste of money. So, when I received the nail polish, I thought Hey. Why not? Let's give it a try. It'll save me money at the nail salon.
What I absolutely loved, first off, are the names of the polish colors such as Girls Night Out and You complete me for the top coat. After using the polish, I noticed it goes on really smooth and easily. It also dries VERY fast. I have very little time to wait for my nails to dry. I'm impatient that way. Also, it stayed on my nails FOREVER without chipping.
I will say, however, I did notice you need at least two coats of the polish in order to fully see the color on your nail. So, it was a little light colored when first applied.

I tend to get a manicure/pedicure every other month. I was a diehard every two weeks girl before but that was before kids. I will sometimes do this myself so having fun shades is always nice!
