July Beauty Pick: L'Oreal Ever Sleek Sulfate-Free Smoothing System {Giveaway}

Welcome to another Beauty Pick of the Month here at Momma Findings. Can you BELIEVE it's already July? This Summer is just flying by and school will be here before you know it. I'm counting down the days, but mostly because my hair is taking a beating with this heat and humidity here in Houston.
With that said, I've got the best solution to fight the frizz if you're feeling a bit like me. L'Oreal has unveiled it's newest products to help gals like me have sleek smooth hair. The NEW Ever Sleek Sulfate-Free Smoothing System consists of Shampoo, Conditioner, and Frizz Serum and we've got the scoop on how it stood up to this Texas Summer Heat. Plus, we're letting you in on the one characteristic that EVERYONE seems to think I fake. What could it be?
Okay. You ALL know I'm no JLo, but man! It would be awesome to have her hair. Instead, I fight this:
Yeah. Curly hair during Summer Months, in Houston? Not a girls best friend, but thanks to my involvement in the H-E-B Beauty Blogger program, I got to try L'Oreal's newest products in the Ever Sleek line. I received the Shampoo, Conditioner, and Frizz Serum.
Before I sang Halleluiah, I took a minute to gaze at the packaging. Is it just me or is that one fine looking shampoo bottle? I had to fight back the urge to whistle. If I was shopping for hair care products, these suckers would pop right off the shelf and into my basket due to the sheer fact that the packaging is downright beautiful.
I used the Shampoo and Conditioner and, since I have very coarse-curly hair, I used the frizz serum as soon as I got out of the shower, starting at the tips and working my way upwards. This locks in the moisture my curls need until I can comb it out.
After a few weeks of using the products, my hair has actually stood up REALLY well against the Houston Humidity. That's no small feat folks. The humidity I face on a daily basis feels like a wet blanket as soon as you walk out the door. Plus, it's so light weight that it doesn't weight my hair down like other frizz fighting formulas. Here's a tip if you have curly hair, use the serum, style as usual, then put another palm of serum. Do NOT blowdry unless you plan to blowdry it straight. Let your curls air dry and you'll be sitting pretty.
Now. I have a LOT of hair. So, the only thing I'd do different with these products is make them in BIGGER bottles. Those small bottles don't go very far with my long curly hair.
Look for L'Oreal Ever Sleek products in the beauty aisle at your local HEB. Suggested retail price for the Shampoo and Conditioner is $6.99 each, while you can find the Frizz Serum for $8.99. Prices vary at different stores. DEAL ALERT: Buy any L'Oreal EverSleek Shampoo, Conditioner or Treatment and get one 50% off, equal or lesser value. Print Coupon.
Every month I bring you a Beauty Pick of the Month, but I've VOWED to dissect my own kind of beautiful so that I can be more comfortable in my skin. So, what's urking me this week?
Seriously. My Mother has always BEGGED me not to smile the way I do. That's no joke. It's not only her, a lot of others have told me, "You're such a faker!" Even when we had our Family Photoshoot the photographer told me, "No fake smiles now Sara!"
What gives?
It's my smile. I can't help it. It's My Kind of Beautiful! So there.

About L'Oreal Ever Sleek:
Prepare for a summer of frizz-free style. Infused with natural argan, sunflower and olive oils, the new L'Oreal EverSleek Sulfate-Free Smoothing System promises 48-hour frizz control. Ordinary smoothing regimens use sulfates to cleanse hair and silicones to weigh hair down, but with L'Oreal EverSleek, you can gently cleanse hair and have weightless frizz-free style. Plus, the sulfate-free formula is great for all hair types—even color-treated hair.

The biggest problem that I have with my hair is curls. The longer it gets the curlier it becomes. But the curls aren't always pretty especially in this heat. It tends to get very unruly.

My hair is thin. All y life it was straight & a little frizzy. Since menopause...my hair behind my ears & at my nape grows out all wiry with waves yet the rest is just a little kinky. Seems my hotflashes have change the texture of my hair.Where I sweat & get the hotest is where is is growing out all wiry & funny.
