My daughter brought home a Progress Report yesterday. You know what that means, right? That means we're rounding out 3 weeks of school! Wow. It seems like we just started yesterday, but this also means Teachers are getting all the "details down" for the school day. There are no more worries of getting the kids on the right bus or memorizing their names. Now they want structure to move forward for the rest of the year.
Along with a progress report, I also received notes stating my children should bring water bottles to keep at their desk. My son's classroom is a building OUTSIDE the main school building so there are no water fountains in case anyone is thirsty. Yeah, I could send in plain recyclable bottles, but why would I when SIGG makes some of the coolest, eye-catching kids water bottles out there? Oh, and did I mention you can personalize them too?
About SIGG Bottles:
Momma Findings Family Thoughts:
I'm really big on reusable kids utensils. Do you remember how I raved about the Reusies Sandwich Bags last year? We STILL use them up to this day. Well, SIGG is my new "Reusies" this year. Now, let me tell you, I've bought TONS of water bottles for my children. I've bought them for school, sports, travel, playtime, and for the hot Summer months of Texas. I know that my kids wear these bottles out. Seriously. They are very hard on their water bottles and I end up replacing them within 2 months time, but SIGG is quite different. As soon as you pick a SIGG bottle up you know this thing can outlast a rambunctious 3-yr-old. No joke. So, what did we think?
Well, I received the Bones At Night water bottle, featured above on the left, for my son and this thing brought more surprises than I, initially, expected. Here's what we liked:
Momma Findings Improvements and Suggestions:
There really isn't much I'd say needs improvement with these bottles, but I will say this: It gets heavy. Yes, when my son has it full of water it's a little heavy for him to carry, due to the bottle being made from pure aluminum. Suggestion: Check out SIGG bottle carrying straps. This makes it easy to carry and comes in an array of colors.
Final Findings:
All in all, I was pleasantly surprised with our SIGG bottle. I didn't think my son really cared what kind of bottle he was bringing to school, but he was so excited when he saw the cool design, colors, and glow-in-the-dark cap. He's taken really good care of it the last week and that's a shocker to say the least. I happen to LOVE the bottle and want to buy my own for gym time. These are great for the entire family with all the styles, sizes, and durability.
Buy It:
SIGG Bottles can be purchased online at www.mysigg.com. Suggested retail price is $19.99 for the big kids water bottles. They also come in smaller sizes for little kids (my 3-yr-old is begging for his own) and those retail for $17.99. Don't forget the carrying straps for $2.99-$5.99.

This post made possible by SIGG and representing PR agency who provided me with a SIGG bottle to facilitate this review. Opinions stated are, solely, my own and not wavered or compensated in any other way.

Well, I received the Bones At Night water bottle, featured above on the left, for my son and this thing brought more surprises than I, initially, expected. Here's what we liked:
- Durable: Yup. As soon as I picked up this bottle I knew it would last the whole year for my 3rd Grader. It should be because every SIGG bottle is made from a single piece of pure aluminum making which gives it a really long life span.
- Safe: You just never know what harmful chemicals are lurking on your child's bottles these days. I feel secure knowing that SIGG bottles do not leach any harmful chemicals such as BPA's or phthalates. BPA free water bottles baby!
- Taste Neutral: We not only use our SIGG bottle for water. My son likes to pour milk, juice, soda (Gasp. I'm a horrible mother, huh?) and other favorites. So, it's really cool, that SIGGs are equipped with a baked on, non-porous interior liner making them taste neutral. You can put all kinds of drinks in this thing and there won't be any lingering taste or odor from the previous beverage.
- Styles: The entire family can use SIGG bottles being that they come in over 100 different styles and sizes. In fact, I couldn't find my water bottle the other day when I was headed to the gym, so I snagged my son's SIGG and I actually liked it BETTER. Imagine that?
- Personalization: I don't have any personal experience with personalizing my SIGG bottle, however, I love the fact that SIGG offers skins for your bottles. You can use your own pictures, their limited edition graphics, or splatter all kinds of die cut images. Wicked cool! Just go to SIGGskins.com to find out more.
- Fun Stuff: This is, by far, my son's FAVORITE feature with his bottle. The top mud cap glows in the dark! It was a big surprise to me because it doesn't say that on the website, but he was walking through the dark living room at home and there it was just'a glowin'. You can also purchase other fun bottle caps, in all kinds of colors, to replace it should you need a change or it becomes damaged.
- No Leakage: This bottle is made to keep your drink secure. I say that because the top has a flip mud cap you click closed AND the spout must be turned to open. This is a must for my son because he sometimes forgets to turn the spout (on other bottles) and it leaks all over his backpack or lunchbox. It also prevents the spout from germs, dirt, or "mud" when out and about.
- Dishwasher Safe: I've gotta say it. I don't buy things unless they are dishwasher safe. I just don't have time to wash tons of dishes by hand with three children and working from home. You can just pop that sucker right into the dishwasher and it'll be clean and ready to go the next day.
