Whew! Is this a party or what?! I've definitely enjoyed reading how you guys have fun, especially out on picnics. Have you crashed some of the other Nestle Summer Block Parties? Bridgette at The Not-So Blog has gotten me itching to try some backyard experiments and 24/7 Moms has featured some REALLY yummy recipes that I'm tucking away for next week.

We're in the middle of the week. I don't know about you guys, but when Wednesday hits I'm usually really tired and trying to stay encouraged to get through the rest of the week without losing my Momma Sanity. Wednesday is a great day to take the family out to eat and take a break from cooking.

So, check out your local restaurants and see who's got your kids covered. My kids love James Coney Island and Denny's partly because our location usually has a balloon artist there.

The only place I can think of up here around Houghton, MI is Joeys Seafood when you have the little coupon thing (which are easy to come by). Unless it is your birthday. A ton of restaurants up here offer free birthday meals (regardless of age).

Seville Diner is a locally owned eatery in Pensacola, Florida. Kids under 3 eat free from the children's menu. 4-12 year olds can choose from items starting at $2.69. Adults can usually find a buy-one-get-one-free coupon at the Valpak website.
I'm following on Google Friend Connect. I should mention that Pensacola has had some oil on our beaches, but you can still get out and enjoy the sun, sand, and water. If you don't want to go in the Gulf or the Sound (the Sound is the water that separates the island from the mainland), several of the Beach hotels have swimming pools. Plus, we have a lot of summer festivals and free music events. I work at Pensacola Little Theatre and we have a children's show this weekend plus Alice in Wonderland the first two weekends in August. There's lots to do in this area besides the beach. Hotels are making good deals, too, because we're all hurting. It's a great summer to visit Pensacola!
I really don't know of anyplace where kids eat free.
