Allergy Awareness: Alerts that Stick With Name Bubbles

As long as my toddler has a severe food allergy, I'll continue my effort to support companies and products who help families like mine stay safe. Last month, I've featured allergy safe food and hip allergy jewelry your kids can wear. Today, however, I've got a method that will really "stick".

I get a little carried away with protecting my little one, but I kind of have to. He's 3-years-old and is severely allergic to peanuts. He's my Epipen carrying little guy, who has now learned which candies he can and cannot have. It's amazing to see him when he's picking out Lunchables, "Uh. I can't get that one, it has a peanut candy." So, while he knows which foods he can have, often times, his caregivers don't. Every little reminder helps, especially on his eating utensils. Name Bubbles has you covered and specializes in Medical and Allergy alerts that stick to just about anything helping my toddler voice his allergy to everyone around him.

About Name Bubbles:
Name Bubbles creates durable vinyl labels for everyday life. Our labels are personalized, fun, and easy. Name Bubbles are made with a non-toxic, eco-friendly ink and are tough enough to stick in the extreme conditions of -60 to 220 degrees Fahrenheit.

Initially created as baby labels and kids labels, Name Bubbles are dishwasher and laundry safe, making them an excellent choice for daycare items, camping equipment, school supplies, and uniforms. We soon found that every family member could benefit from our labels. They can be used on golf clubs, ski boots, luggage, baby bottles, clothes, and more.

Momma Findings Family Thoughts:

When I was asked to review Name Bubbles, I grew a little hesitant. If you've been around Momma Findings you know I've worked exclusively with a different Label Company before and probably know all there is about label options for families, but Name Bubbles was different. I, immediately, discovered a few differences in our Allergy Alert Labels compared to our previous tags from the other company. Some of these differences were merely about the storing and packaging of the labels, but others could make a difference in saving my child's life.

What to expect when you get your labels

When we received our labels they were nestled in a plastic bag and all placed in a booklet (think of an over-sized book of stamps). I love that Name Bubbles makes it easy to carry and store the labels. They aren't placed on separate flimsy sheets that can get lost, bent, wrinkled, or overall damaged.

I also enjoyed the fact that they threw in extras to help me spread the word about these life-saving allergy labels. In my package we received a Name Bubbles magnet, application instructions, and an additional booklet about their products.

Importance of Allergy Alert Labels:

I mentioned above that a difference I found in these Allergy Alerts compared to the other allergy tags we tried, can save a child's life, MY child's life. Parents, like me, can include MORE information for caregivers including the said allergy, symptoms to look for, and phone numbers to call.

Close-up of our Allergy Labels. I excluded some of our information due to privacy issues, but you can see the area where more information can me included.

Sounds so simple, but it's important. As soon as my child ingests (and sometimes smells) peanuts he starts breaking out in hives and his face becomes swollen. Caregivers who aren't experienced in allergies won't know that. Including what to look for and what to do is key in protecting children with allergies and I feel confident that Name Bubbles understands that making it our primary resource for our Allergy Label needs.

Buy It:

To create and purchase your own Allergy or Medical Alert Labels head over to www.namebubbles.com. Prices vary depending on the package your choose. Don't have a need for Allergy Labels? They have an array of kids labels to choose from for Daycare, Birthday Parties, Camp, Luggage, and more!

This post made possible by Name Bubbles who provided me with samples of personalized allergy labels for my family. Opinions here are, solely, my own and have not been wavered or compensated in any other way, form, or fashion.
