Yesterday morning, I watched a grown man, our guest Pastor shed tears of remembrance in front of the whole congregation. His voice became low, his tears flowed down, and his hand covered his face as he tried to compose himself. This lasted a whole three minutes, but as he finished crying he looked up at us and said, "Freedom Is Not Free."


When we arrived home from church, I looked at my babies, laughing, playing, running. We have a freedom that a lot of other people don't and we don't have it because some political leader decided we would, we have it because of the sacrifice of each and every soldier. They gave and continue to give their lives so that I can have freedom others, across the globe, pray for every day.

I have the freedom to live.
I have the freedom to play.
I have the freedom to choose.
I have the freedom to laugh.
I have the freedom to WORSHIP.
I have the freedom to PRAISE.

We sang amazing songs of Freedom at Worship Service yesterday. My heart was lifted, with my hands lifted high and my face catching every drop of Grace that fell. I have a freedom to worship the God I love so much in my heart, which then gives me Freedom in Christ. I am a child of God and my praises are lifted up today as I thank Him for our Military.

Freedom is here among us, but it's not free. Let's remember those who made it possible. This Music Monday is dedicated to our Military. Thank you for your sacrifice. Thank you for giving us the freedom, that we take for granted on most days. You are a blessing to us all.
