It's here! It's here! I love me some Music and get a little giddy on Mondays when I get to share with you songs that inspired me throughout last week, during Worship service on Sunday, when I was driving in my car with the windows down, or... in this case, when I hear them come out of the sweet mouths of my children.

Last night, I let my children stay up later than usual for a school night. Why you ask? Well, sometimes, just sometimes, I can be a pushover. That and we were just quietly getting along together and that rarely happens after our Sunday Morning chaos.


We all had showers, enjoyed a bed time snack of my new favorite, Fruit Smoothies. Then I got a call from my husband. He would be coming home from work, which was a surprise, because he was supposed to work all night. We stayed up later waiting for him.

Now, I've got to tell you how fun it is for me to see all my children getting along, nobody throwing fits, or screaming, or hitting, or tattle telling. This was a calm Sunday Evening! Alas, it was bedtime and as I walked into the hallway near my children's bedroom, I heard my Abby girl sing, "Take take take it all! Take take take it all! I'll never be ashamed of You!"

Smiling from ear to ear I said, "Honey, did you sing that song in Children's Church this morning?" "Yeah Mom! I don't know any of the other words, but it's stuck in my head! We sang another slow song that Zach liked, but this is catchy, eh?!"

Yes. It is. It's catchy and heartwarming to hear my children sing songs of Worship just out of there heart. It's there! It's alive! And I sit in amazement as I witness God's work in them. Lord, I love you more and more each day and in THIS house, we'll never be ashamed of you. Take it all!
