We had a red, white, blue day too! Our oldest came home saying "I voted today too!" I was so curious who she voted for....she was like "Hot Dog" I was a bit confused. Then found out apparently they voted for the class fav food not a person :) Wish it was that easy!!! Pizza could reign--LOL!

My hubby had them picking "their horse" last night before they went to bed and the winner got to have candy with breakfast. Yeah, that's how we roll patriotic at the Zoo! Can I come live at your house?

My kids voted at school as well. It was so cute. They came home PROUDLY wearing their " I voted" sticker. My 10yr old was very invested in the election since he was convinced that his vote was part of the actual election!!

Our kids didn't have school yesterday. Some of the schools were being used as voting centers.

My daughter's brownie troop visited a polling place and got to vote as well! It is great seeing kids excited even though their vote won't count till they are registered voter at 18!
