Being hundreds of miles away from family, I long to be home, in Texas, for the Holiday's. Sometimes, we actually pull off the long drive to be with family, but most years we don't. I miss the homecooked meals and family togetherness, but I've gotta be honest, my family is so awesome they usually find a way to come to me. I am truly blessed to have them all.

My favorite part about a family meal is that my family is together. My husband had to travel for almost 8 months and was never home at dinner. It just feels awesome to have us all together as a family again.

We love to make gingerbread cookies at Christmas time. The kids have so much time decorating them and having a son makes it hilarious. He loves to make them deformed, or alien-like. So many great memories.
We love them all! We use the pizza crust for pizza & stromboli, love the cinnamon rolls & always have cresents on hand!

My favorite part of our family meal is the opportunity to sit down together at the end of the day and be a family. We go in so many separate directions throughout the day and the only time we truly find to come together and catch up with each other is at meal time.
One of our favorite treats during the holidays is a cream cheese danish I make using Pillsbury Crescent Rolls. Simply divine, easy to make, and perfect with a cup of hot chocolate on Christmas morning!

My fav. depends on the time of day...mornings, it's the cinnamon rolls for sure. But for dinner, I have to say their crescents are amazing and I have some yummy recipes that use these in the meal. I have to have two cans in my fridge at all times!

Reduced Fat Cinnamon Rolls with Icing. I love having these on the weekends with coffee. Never have to have guilt with a second one.

I used to love to bake until I had a restaurant, and now I am still so worn out I no longer make the creative breads and cookies I once did. Thank goodness for Pillsbury. I love the crescent rolls, and the slice and bake cookies. What a blessing, because these products make the house smell like home.

Pillsbury Grands Cinnamon Rolls are my fave, because there's no way to make them without getting some of the icing on your fingers, then having to lick the icing off your fingers, and then you have to eat the cinnamon rolls right away!! lol! Thank you for the contest!

One of my top treats for the holidays is French Pastries: 1 cup flour, 1/3 cup butter, 1/4 cup packd brown sugar, mix theses together and pat down in a 9"13" pan and bake 350 for 10 mins.
Then mix topping: 2 beaten eggs, 2 teaspoons flour, 1 teaspoon baking powder, 1 cup chopped nuts (choice of or pecans), 1/2 cup coconut, 1 teaspoon vanilla, 1 1/2 cups packed brown sugar. Spread topping over baked layer and bake an additional 20-30 mins longer. Let cool and cut into squares, then chow down!
