Design Girls Fashion Studio Review

We were out shopping the other day, when my 5 year old daughter BEGGED me to buy her this headband with sparkles on it. She is my fashionista and, although, we sometimes disagree with what to wear she ACTUALLY has good taste, Like Mother, Like Daughter.



So, I knew when we received the Design Girls Fashion Studio, by Kobold Toys, it would be a hit! With 2 cardboard dolls, scissors, pre-cut patterns, fun assorted fabrics, pipe cleaners, trims, craft glue glitter, glue, magnets, ribbon, roses, colored pencils, feathers, sequins, spangles,and stickers your fashion designer in training can create tons of outfits!

Although this is recommended for ages 7 and up, my 5 year old daughter enjoyed playing with it and had no trouble cutting, gluing, and dressing up each doll. I was impressed that there was an abundance of fabric and accessories to choose from and it can all be kept in the handy vinyl carrying case. It helps out during clean up time, that's for sure.

I actually love putting outfits together for myself or my daughter so I had a blast sitting with her talking about what would look best on the "catwalk". Toys that allow parents to spend quality time with their children are always a plus in my book and the Design Girls Fashion Studio does just that.
