Glitterful Felt Stories Giveaway!

Wednesday, August 27, 2008 Leave a Comment

***THIS CONTEST HAS NOW ENDED***

Have your children ever BEGGED you to read a story only for them to get bored before you finished? My children have done that to me. If they've read it before, their attention span wanders. Well, through my Etsy browsing I came across an amazingly innovative Boutique called Glitterful Felt Stories.

The owner of the Boutique, Shelby, describes her products as an Interactive Introduction to Literacy. These stories make story fun, exciting and interactive for young children. It can also help children with ADD, ADHD and Autism enjoy story time! Your children can help interact with story time....encouraging a life long love for reading!!

I had the pleasure of reviewing one of her felt board stories:

The Old Lady Who Swallowed a Fly

I can tell you that my children have heard this story a gazillion times, but never have I had a visual for my kids to see. You should have heard the laughs and amazement from them, almost as if it was their first time to hear the story!

Glitterful Story pieces are made using the highest quality of felt & they are all decorated using glitter fabric glue & goggle eyes! There are over 100 stories available and more new designs coming soon! The great thing about this Boutique is if you are looking for a particular story you can contact Shelby and she will try her best to make it available for you.

Bottom Line:

Quality: These pieces are high quality felt, fabric glue has withstood my kids rough handling and the goggle eyes are well attached.
Price: The stories themselves range from 4.50-12.00, while the boards themselves range from 14.99-19.99. As soon as you purchase the felt board itself, the stories are super affordable!
Functionality: I can't say enough about these felt stories as a resource to foster a love of literacy with your children. Engaging, Colorful, and fun your kids will be saying, "Just ONE more time, Mom!"

So, now that you know more about Glitterful Felt Stories, don't you want to try them?! The Glitterful Felt Stories Boutique has generously offered a couple of story sets to my readers. There will be TWO winners chosen and each will receive one felt board along with two story sets of their choice.

To win all you have to do is:

Go to the main website, www.glitterfulfeltstories.com, and tell me your two favorite stories and why. That's it!

For extra entries you can do any or all of the following:

1.) Add Momma Findings to your blog roll
2.) Tell your readers about this giveaway by writing a post on your blog linking back to us.
3.) Add my button to your sidebar.

**Each entry MUST be in separate comments**

The contest is open to US residents only and begins today August 27th-September 3rd Midnight Eastern Time. You don't have to be a blogger to enter, but please leave a contact email in case your one of the two lucky winners.
